My Favorite green smoothie

clean, creamy with just enough sweetness


1/2 frozen banana

1/4 frozen zucchinni

Handful of frozen spinach

1/4 frozen avocado

1 scoop of vanilla protein

1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk

1/2 cup of water

dash of cinnamon

Optional toppings:

almond butter

fresh blueberry

unsweetened coconut flakes


This is very simple to make if you prep your ingredients ahead of time: Slice an entire avocado into quarters, Banana into halves and Zucchini into medallions before freezing everything in separate bags. If you plan on making the same smoothie, you can portion out the ingredients into individual zip-lock baggies before freezing, including your handful of spinach. If you want to experiment, separate everything and freeze an entire bag of spinach. When you are ready for your smoothie, blend frozen ingredients with your liquids, protein powder and cinnamon. Add toppings if you like and enjoy!
